The mood was moody and intense, yet also hilarious. 4 varyingly strapping lads set out to create a ferocious, raucous, lively, intense, intensely moody, feverishly raw rock album.
Completely abandoning their loved ones, the core members of Ghost in the Machine set off into a cold and laborious region of the midwest, fending off several mountain
lion and mountain crocodile attacks along the way. Using a state of the art 4 track reel to reel from 1983, and using only a single lapel mic placed on top of a moist towelette wrapper,
a collection of songs were rather embarrassingly captured. Battered and bruised and also very smelly, they decided to burn the recordings and return defeated.
So, after surviving a week long trek home, foraging for berries and living off the land (including juicy hair mites they found in Brian's hair), the boys decided to re-record everything at, head Ghost, Kris Smith's recording studio. What exists now was produced in one room and recorded live over a 4 day period in December of 2011. 11 tracks of tight rockers, spacey mind-trips, fierce attitude, amazing sounds, perfectly blended for even the most finicky of music listeners.
